CNC Mill Machinist – Prototype & Short-Run (Programming Required)
Chandler, AZ | Full-Time | 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) + Overtime

At AeroSpec, you won’t be running the same part over and over, you’ll be programming, setting up, and machining custom prototype and short-run components that go into advanced automated systems used across aerospace, medical, defense, and high-tech industries.

What You’ll Do
- Program, set up, and machine prototype and short-run parts on CNC vertical mills (HAAS VMC FANUC)
- Work from engineering drawings and CAD models to produce high-precision components
- Select tooling, set offsets, and optimize machining processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining, tooling, and programming challenges
- Inspect your own work using precision measuring tools
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to bring designs to life
What You Bring
- CNC Programming experience (minimum 2 years required)
- 3+ years operating CNC vertical mills
- Strong ability to read blueprints, specs, and GD&T
- Experience with setups, offsets, and tool compensation
- Solid understanding of machining processes and quality standards
- Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with Mastercam or SURFCAM
- Familiarity with SolidWorks or AutoCAD
- Manual machining experience (mills/lathes)
