Are you a proactive problem-solver with a knack for keeping complex building systems running smoothly? AeroSpec is looking for a Facilities Technician to join our team in Chandler. In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring a safe, functional, and efficient work environment for all employees reporting to the Facilities Lead you’ll take on assignments that maintain, refresh and improve our 45,000 sq. ft. main facility and support our on-site research facility in close proximity.

- Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure peak efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Inspections & Safety: Conduct regular interior and exterior building inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols.
- Equipment Repair: Troubleshoot and repair building systems and specialized equipment.
- Landscape Maintenance & Repair: Basic repairs to irrigation lines, planting and other minor items.
- Ticket Management: Manage and respond to service requests through the Help Desk system.
- Facility Support: Assist with space setups, furniture assembly, minor carpentry, painting, small landscape items, and general upkeep to maintain a professional workspace.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Experience with hand tools and small power tools is expected as well.
- Software Skills: Ability to independently use Microsoft 365, Help Desk systems, and collaboration tools like Teams or Zoom.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and working with a team.
- Safety Mindset: Strict adherence to safety procedures, including the use of PPE and lockout/tagout protocols.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical thinking for root cause analysis and "outside-the-box" problem-solving for unique projects.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work comfortably around shop noise and moving machinery.
- Organization & Attention to Detail: Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively under pressure while maintaining awareness of company standards.
