Control Panel Builder – Build Advanced Automation Systems
Looking for hands-on work where you can build, wire, and troubleshoot real machines, not just repeat the same task every day?
AeroSpec is hiring a Control Panel Builder to support the build and integration of custom automation systems across industries like aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing.
What You'll Do
- Build and wire industrial control panels from schematics
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and final inspections (UL508A)
- Install conduit, pull wire, and wire equipment on machines
- Support machine integration and system commissioning
- Work with engineers and technicians on custom, one-off builds
- Occasional field support for installs and upgrades
What You Need
- 1–2+ years of panel wiring or industrial electrical experience
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
- Strong electrical fundamentals and troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable using hand tools and electrical test equipment
Preferred (Not Required)
- UL 508A or NEC familiarity
- Exposure to controls systems or basic programming
